The "Dividends" worksheet is intended for dividend payment plans.

Input parameters

Dividends (gross)
Enter the gross dividends paid out (owners' draw), including corporate income tax on distributed profit.

In some jurisdictions business income is taxed when it is distributed.

Example
Dividends (gross): 100,000
Corporate income tax rate on distributed profit: 21%
Dividends (net to shareholders) = 100,000 x (1-21%) = 79,000
Corporate income tax (on dividends) = 100,000 x 21% = 21,000

Enter the corporate income tax rate on distributed profit (dividend tax rate).

Example
Corporate income tax rate on distributed profit: 21%
Dividends (gross): 100,000
Dividends (net to shareholders) = 100,000 x (1-21%) = 79,000
Corporate income tax (on dividends) = 100,000 x 21% = 21,000
