Online Corporate Worksheets

With Strategy Designer™, already existing corporate Excel worksheets can be bound to plan sections and converted into online worksheets. This enables team members to contribute from anywhere, especially to update financial sheets with the latest numbers.

Interactive Document Creation

Strategy Designer™ collates the various parts of your strategy and automatically generates an accurate and professional document in PDF, MS Word, or HTML formats, which are easy to download, print, and share. You can build your strategic plan the way you want by organizing the sections and also by adding, removing, moving up and down, or hiding the plan chapters to suit your own standard outline.

Flexible Content Management

Strategy Designer™ has a flexible content management platform built-in. Users can type text, enter data, and copy–paste content from external sources such as MS Word and Excel files, websites, and corporate intranets. Financial worksheets and charts, PDF-pages, presentations, and images can be easily uploaded directly into the plan.

Strategic Plan Samples for Corporations and NPOs

We have assembled two sample strategic plans, one for business, and another for nonprofit organizations, to review. They reflect general structure and guidelines that can be incorporated into your own strategic planning framework.

Collaborative Document Management

Reviewed by Mark Thompson, Steamship Authority (MA): Collaborative document management can be a challenge for any organization. While MS Office has a tracking function, it’s often insufficient when working with a multitude of users. Dropbox also makes it easier in some respects, but the case of multiple users ending up with multiple plan versions remains. Also, not all of the features that this product offers are available via Dropbox. By combining Office’s extended functionality with Dropbox-style sharing, Strategy Designer has the potential to be the best of both worlds.

The ability to collaborate on an exhaustive document with multiple users is especially useful in a larger corporate environment. When many people try to work collaboratively on a strategic plan, different versions typically float back and forth via email, Dropbox, or on multiple corporate servers. Having a single Cloud-based service that provides access to a shared document makes things much simpler.

File Sharing

File sharing is provided for all projects. Executive team members can upload documents, reports, presentations, worksheets, any kind of files to be provided as attachments to plan sections.

Teamwork Supportive Planning Tool

Corporate or NPO strategies require joint action and teamwork to succeed. Strategy Designer™supports managers of different functions to design a professional plan for meeting strategic goals efficiently and within a given time frame while mutually understanding their various functional constraints.

Data Security and Back-up

Using Cloud Technology, your data is secure, protected, and backed-up. Data transfer with the application’s back-end is highly secure as the industry's standard encryption technologies are implemented. All accounts use SSL encryption on every connection - the same level of security used by online banks. Read more about enterprise cloud security

What is a Strategic Business Plan?

A strategic business plan is an internal document that:

  • Outlines an organization’s direction and purpose;
  • Examines organization’s present strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT);
  • Sets long-term objectives or goals; and
  • Lays down short-term tactics to reach them.
